Can I Go Divorce My Husband In Us Embassy ?

We got married in the US and have marries licence in the US but now we live in Thailand.. thing isnt go too well between us, we didnt have thai marries licence.. and we can't go to the US jus to get divorce..can we just get divorce in Thailand at US embassy or where they can do this for us..please help!!!

You cannot divorce at the US embassy.

What you dio is register your amrriage in Thailand:

1 go to the embassy and get your marrriage documents certified

2. have the documents tranlated into Thai

3. have the documents legalised by the Thai foreign ministry

4. register the marrige at any amphur and apply for a divorce. (Use an amphur like Bangrak in Bangkok, where they are used to foreigners)

If there are assets to divide, prepare an agreement regarding the division of assets.

ok so i need to sign thai marries license first and then get divorce? and how it will show in the US that we are no longer marries each other already?

You will get a Thai divorce certificate, that serves as proof.

You may need to have it certified by the Thai embassy for use in the US.
