the scouser
You don't need the tabien baan for any of those procedures (unless it's a Thai passport you're applying for), although some people do attach a copy and translation to the settlement application. My personal view, however, is that the tabian baan adds nothing evidentially to the application. Scouse.
coldcrush
Hi Scouse, I know it is possible to post the documents for birth registration and 1st passport, can you put cash in this? or is it better to hand in at the embassy?
the scouser
I believe the embassy prefer either a cashier's cheque or a postal order. You're missus should be able to obtain either from her local bank/post office. Scouse.
coldcrush
1 more question for tonight then time to rest In the settlement application is ok to put; 1 copy of the missus birth certificate, one copy of mine, my childs birth certificate and marriage certificate or do they have to be originals and copies in english? Thanks Edited March 13, 2006 by lopburiguy
the scouser
Again, I don't see why either you or your missus should have to support the settlement application with your birth certifcates when the embassy has access to your passports, which are better ID documents than the birth certs. Anyway, I know the embassy ask for them, so for the sake of a quiet life, give them the originals and a copy of each. The same goes for the marriage certificate. Your wife can ask for the originals back when she lodges the application. Scouse.
