alyx
Hey My Thai friend needs a birth certificate to be issued. Living in Bangkok but born in Samut prrakan, we went to the Bangrak office The request was turned down, being told to go to samut prakan Surely there is another way to get this document without having to go there? Please let me know Secondly, if we were to follow this path where should we go as the local government office was unable to provide us with an answer? Thanks for any clues Edited April 1, 2013 by alyx
Mario2008
Birth certificates are issued by the local amphur of the place where you were born. If your friend has family there, maybe he can send them a power of attorney to get a copy of the birth certificate on his behalf.
