We have a settlement visa for the UK and want to visit friends in Switzerland will my wife need a visa??

If so would it be straight forward or not?

If her visit is for less than 3 months, I think that she will not require a Swiss visa. See DO I NEED A VISA TO ENTER SWITZERLAND ?
