Urgent: Need Fast Help - 90 Day Stamp - Non-Immigrant 0

Featured Replies

My non-immigrant B visa is good until middle of May however I discovered my 90 day valid stamp date expired 12 days ago (I had entered country middle December).

What am I faced with here and what's the best way to take care of it? Do I have anything to worry about? Should I go the immigration offices in Bangkok and explain? Should I wait until my next scheduled departure out of country near 1st week of May or should I quick book a ticket and get out to KL or similar and take a hit at the airport? If I do go out quickly, what's the minimum amount of time I should stay out for?

Final note is my concern that I will need to re-apply for a new 1 year non-immigrant B and do not want any problems with that.

Thanks very much for anyone's good advice. I am fretting over here.

You are on overstay and currently in the country illegally. If you go to the border, they will fine you 500baht per day you are on overstay, with a maximum of 20,000 baht.

Best is to make a quick border run, pay the fine and leave Thailand enter another country and return to Thailand for another 90 days. Best is to do it by plane.

No minimum time required to outside of Thailand.

Overstay is normally not a problem in getting a new visa, but nationality might be an issue that too. Some nationalities are checked more strict than others.

Thanks for the fast reply Mario. Maybe I just do a same-day flight to KL and back.

Just be ready to pay the overstay fine. It adds up pretty quick you would pay 6500 baht today.

Air Aisa can offer a flight combination, that allows you to arrive in Singapore, clear immigration, have a coffee and then check in for your flight back..
