News_Editor Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 <p>TORONTO, CANADA (BNO NEWS) -- At least two people were killed after a deadly shooting at a Canadian daycare, local authorities said Friday. </p> <p>The shooting occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. local time when a man entered a daycare center on Gamelin Street in Gatineau, Quebec and began threatening staff members. </p> <p>Gatineau Police Chief Mario Haren told CTV News that authorities arrived and found the suspected gunman dead next to a shotgun. Another person, a male who was a janitor at the daycare was also found dead. </p> <p>While few details were disclosed by authorities, investigations were launched to figure out whether the gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot. In addition, other reports said the gunman was in a relationship with the director of the daycare, whose new partner was the killed janitor. </p> <p>The daycare is a two-house facility which cares for 53 children, including five babies and toddlers.
