John_Betong
In UK it was customary to email "Seasonal Greetings", etc and possibly include a sales and/or update message. Is it OK to do that here?

BrianCR
You could start a new trend! Remember seasonal greetings applies to Christmas and the New Year - but remember Songkran is NOT Thai New Year (it used to be) Thai New Year is now the same as the West December 31st and Songkran is just another public holiday so, perhaps if you send greetings you should send them every Thai public holiday? BrianCR
Send and email that splashes water...What about an email of the young boy peeing - when you open it he pee's over you! Happy Songkran! Edit- before I get any crazy replies i meant the statue of the boy not the real thing!!! Edited April 9, 2013 by BrianCR

geriatrickid
Keep the email on message, i.e. only happy songkran. Leave out the sales material. If you attach sales publicity, it will offend. A simple festival greeting will accomplish more.

Seizhin
I think it's good..It's a nice excuse to send the Songkran greetings to Thai people..Been receiving Songkran emails from 7-11, Central Shopping Department, etc. I dont feel much bothered that it's sent to me once every year.
