I have always had a big dislike for Singapore, the following article is one of the reasons why.

This kind of treatment make me feel ill.

27,000 maids from Myanmar working in Singapore, they are cheaper than the Indonesians and Philipinos.

Even if 1% of the 27,000 are poorly treated that is 270 girls/woman potentially being abused.

Abuse can take many forms, one of those forms and happens is the same abuse that poor Karen girl received from the Thai couple that kidnapped her.

My heart breaks at the thought of how these commodities are treated. They do not even have a legislated day off.
