X Spider

Featured Replies

Look in your Garden and see the X Spider wink.png ( Argiope X spider)

This brilliantly Fluor coloured spider sits head down in the centre of the web,

and holds its legs in pairs in such a way that they appear to be aligned to the four arms of the letter 'X'

Tanks , yes I look to it.

This spider is special of his X, also in the night you can see it smile.png

My encounters with spiders a quit rare. Once my wife took a photo of the "cross".

This Golden silk orb-weaver I found once in Sa Kaeo and this funnel web-spider I found once in Ka Yai. Furthermore I meet sometimes in my house the Huntsman spider. That's all!

This spider belongs to the family Araneidae, genus Argiope, it seems to be Argiope versicolor with the 4 characteristic structures in the web, calleD stabilimenta.
