I have a cash account, margin account and derivatives account (3 total) with the same Thai broker. They are different style accounts though. Possible some brokers may have system limitations. The most likely difficulties are practical. eg explaining to them why you want 2 cash accounts in your name, or it's also possible that their IT system doesn't cater for it.
