Heavy Police Presence during Pattaya Songkran Festival
PATTAYA:--The Provincial Police Commander, Police Major General Katcha, held a meeting at Pattaya Police Station on Wednesday to confirm security arrangements which will be in-place on 19th April, the day Pattaya celebrates the Songkran Festival.

All senior officers were in attendance as the General went through plans to saturate Pattaya Beach Road and all roads leading down to the Beach with over 600 officers, some of them Police Volunteers.

Pattaya Beach Road will be closed to traffic between 9am and 10pm on 19th April and apart from patrolling officers, there will be teams of undercover officers

so if they are closing beach road on the 19th to vehicles then how will folks srive around and play songkran on all the sois between beach road and 2nd road?... like soi 6,7,8 .. etc..
