March 17, 200620 yr My fiancee has been given an interview at the British Embassy in mid April, nine weeks after we applied for a settlement visa. We have nothing to hide, but nonetheless, we're keen to ensure that she is as prepared as possible for the interview. I'm posting to ask if anybody can give us an idea of what questions she will be asked, the line of questioning and/or any other information that will help us to prepare? Thanks in advance!
March 17, 200620 yr See:- Diplomatic Service Procedures - Entry clearance 13.15 Interviewing for an overview. Also Thai/English version of Possible interview questions from Thailand-UK (it's in the members only section, so you will need to register).
March 17, 200620 yr I have been told this by many people.... Honesty is the best and only policy. If an ECO even gets the slightest wiff of an untruth they may expand on that particular question and therefore comporomise the applicants credibility if they prove to be correct in their suspicions. Its simple, tell the truth and they may well be impressed by your honesty.
March 17, 200620 yr It's very important HOW she dresses...LaoPo This too is very true, no jeans or Tshirts. A nice conservative blouse/shirt and skirt/trousers is a must. Edited March 17, 200620 yr by falangaman
