Is anyone aware of any pitfalls re travelling with a child under 10, be the adult parent male or female & the child a dual (Thai/EU) national with appropriate passports?

Is there a need by the adult to carry their own expired/cancelled passport despite transferring visa extn into their new one? (the latter question being irrelevent to travelling with anyone else).

Thanks all:)

What nationality(ies) are the parent and child(ren)? ('EU' is not a nationality.)

Where is the other parent?

Does the travelling parent have the permission/approval of the non travelling parent to take the child(ren) out of the country where they are currently? (Unless the other parent is dead.)

Where are they departing from?

Where are they travelling to?

What visas issued by which country?

Then, assuming the child is travelling with a parent, I can't see any problems; but if concerned get the other parent's permission in writing.

Not quite the same; different EU countries may have different rules.

Might be worth moving this to Thai Visas, Residency & work Permits, I seem to remember Mario 2008 commenting on this in the past, when travelling from Thailand
