Taxi Ramkhamhaeng Apl Station To Don Mueang Airport

Featured Replies

OK, this is one for the BIB (Boys in BKK) wink.png

How long does a taxi take to get from Ratchadaphisek (near
Ramkhamhaeng APL Station) to Don Mueang Airport or visa versa?

And what is the approximate fare?

Would all depend on time of day and if you want taxi to take toll way

That's like asking how long is a piece of string? The answer to your question is 30 minutes to all day, depending on traffic conditions

My sister recently stayed at the NasaVegas Hotel opposite the Rhamkhamheng ARL and traveled several times to and from Don Muang. Varied between B230-B300 on the meter depending on traffic. At DM, most taxis tried for B500 flat rate going to Nasa.

A sensible answer at last. Thanks Dave.

I have made the same trip by taxi several times from Nasa Vegas (adjacent to Ramkhamhaeng ARL station) to DMK.

It was closer to 400 baht from memory including tolls.

Went all the way up Rama IX and then took the tollway up Vibhavdi Rangsit to Don Meuang.

Usually around 45 minutes, sometimes a little faster when the traffic was lighter.

There is little point taking the tollway to the airport in the morning.

Same goes for the reverse journey n the evening.

For the opposite trips then it is worth it.

Hope that makes sense. smile.png

Allow 45 mins and you should be fine anyhow.
