Visa Run

Featured Replies

Hey all. I'm a U.S.A. citizen. My visa expires tomorrow, so need to re-up.

I'm planning on flying to Phnom Phen(sp?) and then returning.

1. Does flying back re-up me for another 30 days?

2. How long do I need to stay in Cambodia before returning?

3.I get a visa for Cambodia upon arrival?

4.Do I need proof of a flight out of Thailand within 30 days to be re-admitted to Thailand?

Steve

1. Yes, returning by air you get 30 days, by land 15 days.

2. No minimum time, you can return right away.

3. Yes. (Malaysia is a good option and has a visa free entry)

4. Flying from neighboring countries that is normally not checked.

If you need more than 30 days, go to Laos (Vientiane or Savanakhet) and apply for a tourist visa at one of the Thai consulates. Apply morning day 1 and receive next work day afternoon

Cambodia wants a photo for the visa. Any idea if I can get the photo on arrival, and if not, where would I get a photo in Pattaya?

Steve

Normally any photo shop is set up for passport photos

if u don't have a photo when u arrive in PP they will charge u an extra $1
