I have to make a visa run (probably to Penang) soon but am concerned that since this is my 4th application for a tourist visa (I entered with a 30 day, got a 60 after, and a 30 thereafter) I may only get a 15 day. Does anyone know how I can go for a 60 - 90 day instead?

I'm not sure what TR stands for but if you mean did I get a tourist visa from Penang earlier in the year - yes. My 60 day.

So it may be a bit more of a hike, but you're better off going to Vientiane instead, you can apply for a single or double entry Tourist Visa, which will be valid for 60 + 30 (single) or 60 + 28 + 60 + 30 (double).

I put in 28 for the first extension, because the validity of the Visa will be 90 days from the day of issue, so do make sure you activate the second entry before it expires.
