Pattaya Cops Nab Gang Of Thieving Teen Truants

Police arrested a gang of 7 teenagers, 5 male and 2 female, who skipped school to steal motorbikes and snatch tourists’ properties around Pattaya. The delinquents, between ages 13-17, stayed in rented rooms and consumed drugs with their money, and didn’t listen to parents.

PATTAYA – April 24, 2013 [PDN]; at 12:20 p.m., arrests were made of a group of teenagers who set up a gang to steal motorbikes and snatch and run away with tourists’ properties in the area of Pattaya. Announcing the arrests were Pol. Capt. Vitsanu Chaisuwan, Deputy Inspector, Pattaya police station, Chonburi province, with the police team.

The 7 defendants, 5 male and 2 female, were identified as: Mr. Bas (alias), age 17 (the head of the gang); Mr. Nut (alias), age 17; Mr. Net (alias), age 16; Mr. Aek (alias), age 15; and boy Korn (alias), age 13. The 2 female teenagers were Ms. Bell (alias), age 15; and Ms. Bew (alias), age 16.

The police had arrested all the defendants at a checkpoint at Roongland village, south Pattaya. Officers seized 3 motorbikes that the teens stole from the area of Pattaya and Banglamung, and 4 pills of amphetamines, then restrained them to investigate and prosecute at Pattaya police station.

Police won't do anything about Domestic matters as long as there are no serious injuries.

The Prosecuters and Police should hold the Parents accountable to Pay for the thefts and injuries.
