I think we are looking at a different type of medication for someone who has been with 400 prostitutes in less than two years.

Answering the actual question:

Why they ARE doing it: White Knight Syndrome. They are rescuing a girl and providing alternative means from having to do sex work. And in the process they expect her to actually stop doing sex work and/or have boyfriends.

Why they SHOULD be doing it: Just as a sign of appreciation to a person they like, and because they can AFFORD it, and whatever they send means a lot more to her than it does to him. And maybe to make it a bit easier for her to keep her head above the water in the Pattaya rat race. Because girls would be NUTS to turn into a nun just because of this: how many smitten foreign dudes make all kinds of promises about future relationships, only to change their minds later? A lot of them! So to throw all other options and prospects out the window just because one guy manages to find a Western Union office: I don't think so. That just does not make sense. I wouldn't even want a girl who's that naive!

("Should" here is used in the sense of which reasons would make sense logically. It doesn't mean I'm recommending it. positive cases exist Winnie. i know one successful case even though the "benefactor"

did not use it for "personal gains". he is very happy that he "rescued" a working girl

whom he setup with a house and a business somewhere in the boonies and satisfied

receiving an email or two once a month. he is not a Buddhist but strongly believes

that the merit he made has caused his business (actually his investments) to flourish.
