April 29, 201313 yr That is quite a normal request from Immigration. Some ask for this and some do not. It saves them the bother of having to come and pay you a visit to check that you are actually living together. My first marriage extension in Samui we had to take a friend to be interviewed. A couple of years ago we had to take tabbien baan copies of 2 friends.
April 29, 201313 yr Ask again if it's enough to bring a rental/lease agreement if you don't have a house-book on KPG There have been report from other immigrations offices that's needed now if the spouse doesn't have a local house-book. This is enforcing that you use the local immigrations office.
April 29, 201313 yr ...I looked on the offical imm website ,and does not metion any need for a witness... It is part of this requirement: "(3) In the case of spouse, the relationship must be de jure and de facto". Some immigration offices send an officer out to interview neighbours to find out if you are still living with your husbands, other offices ask the applicant to bring a witness along. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
