Anyone know about the red letter days of the 6th and 24th May? (who's open and who's not ? )

Anyone know about the red letter days of the 6th and 24th May? (who's open and who's not ? ) Coronation Day is the 5th - public holiday on the 6th and the 24th May is Visakabucha Day - Buddhist public holiday. I do not know about others - but I am open and working Jimmy Found this site though http://www.thailandteaching.asia/social-public-events-calender/17065-2013-official-thai-government-holidays.html It reads......... Once again, it’s time for the official list of Thai government holidays (ันหยุดประจำปี) for 2013. Please understand that:1.This list does not include holidays like Chinese New Year, Loy Krathong, etc. This list is only for holidays in which government offices (and government schools) will be closed. 2. As per #1, keep in mind that any visa, work permit, or TCT business you need to handle has to be done before or after the holidays. This includes 90 day reporting (and the fine for that has recently been raised to 5000 baht). 3. Foreign embassies and consulates will also be closed on these days. 4. This list is up to date as of 4 December 2012 and is subject to change without notice. TIT! New Year’s Day: Tuesday January 1 Makha Bucha Day: Monday February 25 (unsure of this one - some calendars report it; others don’t) Chakri Memorial Day: Monday April 8 (substitution day) Songkran Festival Day: Monday April 15 Songkran Festival Day: Tuesday April 16 (substitution day) National Labour Day: Wednesday May 1 Coronation Day: Monday May 6 (substitution day) Visakha Bucha Day: Friday May 24 Asaraha Bucha Day: Monday July 22 (unsure of this one - some calendars report it; others don’t) H.M. The Queen’s Birthday: Monday August 12 Chulalongkorn Memorial Day: Wednesday October 23 H.M. The King’s Birthday: Thursday December 5 Constitution Day: Tuesday December 10 New Year’s part 1: Monday December 30 New Year Eve: Tuesday December 31

Hmmm looking at photos of members......... I could not resist that one. You are right - it's a good calendar. I should of thought of that one - but it didn't come up in my Google search. Maybe update your 'thingamy-tags'?
churchill
Banks in shopping centers are open. That's what I thought Bangkok Bank in both Big C and Tesco Chaweng closed ....along with most of their machines , atms etc not working .. Why is it that Bangkok Bank has so few atm's and branches .... I think there is only 1 ATM in Nathon & no ATM Tesco Lamai .
