Vfs Office Regent House Bangkok What A Change!

My wife, son and I went there today to apply for my wife's settlement visa.

The office I noticed has been moved to the ground floor. All new and more staff and certainly more efficient.

Our appointment was scheduled for 10:50, we arrived moments before (that's another story).

My wife went straight in, by 11:20 everything was done I could not believe it. In the past I have spent hours waiting with my son, for it to be completed.

Wow.

It's a shame the embassy can't speed up.

Not even been a day and I'm still fed up of waiting for a decision.

Any idea on current waiting times?

We submitted early April just before Songkran and it took just 15 working days, ie. not including the days the Embassy was shut.

The only downside is that the people from the visa agents next door are still milling around mildly accosting people (the most pleasant way I can phrase it...)

There was no interference from any agents or outsiders. Just straight in straight out.
