Child Care Agencies Or Go With Who You Know?

We need to hire a full time live in maid/nanny in Bangkok to take care of our young daughter whilst I am out of country working. Wife will be around all the time but is expecting again so needs help. First child was born with with in-laws support, but that means moving upcountry again which wife would prefer to avoid and stay in Bangkok.

** Can we expect any reliable service at any agencies (recommendations?) or should we just stick with who we know and return upcountry?

Appreciate any experiences?
