Popular Post ignis
Sorry businesses/installers have no idea.. Is very easy to do it yourself... cut film to size, you apply to inside of window, clean glass, spray well with water, peel backing off the film, apply, slide to fit perfect and use a rubber blade starting in the middle take water and air bubbles out, when dry trim film with a very sharp knife [put a new blade in] it really is simple.. depends why you want film on house windows? Myself did all of my house, bought a roll of tint film........ so 38 windows and 2 different double patio doors. 10 years on still all fine, a + is security as very difficult for anyone to break and get in, looks good, if closed with film on will stop sun damage to things inside the room.... for me mostly have many windows open 24/7 upstairs, and down only close before going to bed. If you want film on windows why ? if to keep heat out that would also depend on how the house is built,, most here a a single brick, put you hand on the inside of a wall that the sun is shining on, no film on a window is going to help that.. if your wall are made of the thermal block 60 x 20 white blocks then yes.......... when I had the house built back then in bulk these blocks were 28 baht each, today same block are 10 baht.. most new builds appear to use these block now + notice many windows are in Alum or UPVC frames and glass itself is tinted. Myself will sometime this year replace the downstairs 2.5 meter patio doors, I will go UPVC and with the glass itself tinted, and sliding, maybe do the same on 2 other windows as the worm has eaten the wooden frames. Edit: the other problem is trying to get anyone to come a do something small, if they say they will come, will they ever arrive ? = everything I do myself were possible + it is done how I want it Edited May 4, 2013 by ignis

eyecatcher
Another place to try is Lamina, they are almost next door to the new central at Rim Khan crossroads Huay Kaew Road. Lamina on the left on superhighway before you get to the Tarin Hotel.
masuk
First thing I'd do would be to insulate the ceiling space. that's where 90% of the heat comes in, as the superheated ceiling radiates heat into the room, warming up every item. In Darwin, NT Australia, ceiling/roof cavity temperature is around 70C. 150mm (6 inches) of insulation batt is required. Saves a fortune in air conditioning.
