chiang mai
Tip of the iceberg, anyone care to suggest where this is headed? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/pensions/10039357/Pay-no-tax-live-abroad...-and-get-a-UK-pension.html
briley
BBC link to the same story. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22423878 But I thought the married woman's pension was being phased out from 2020 anyway and that new applications were already being refused. Pormax
Though not nice to those that might be affected I think there is logic to this. Not sure if this will effect the widows pension for a UK citizen that has moved to Thailand and married a Thai. Should not be the case as there are many UK couples where the lady of the house has never worked and therefore never paid any NI or tax.
