Best Way To Get Tourist Visa From Phuket?

Featured Replies

if i go to phuket by plane they give me one month stay.

after this, where I have to go to get a double entry visa as tourist.?

what s the best way, take air asia and go to kuala?

what s the cheapest?

what guys do there?

I know the procedure from pattaya but not from phuket...

The best way to get a double-entry or even a triple-entry tourist visa is to get it from a Thai consulate in your country of residence before you fly to Thailand. It is more convenient and less expensive and you don't run the risk of being denied a boarding pass for lack of a confirmed flight out of Thailand within 30 days from arrival.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

kl, Penang, Singapore do not issue double entries,

you will need fly to Udon an take the bus to Nong Khai an go over to Vientiane, Laos

still best is as above an get a double/triple ( usa is easy for these) before u leave.

If You are worried about money why would You go to Phuket, probably the most exspensive place in Thailand? as said get Your visa before You come

I don't think phuket is more expensive than pattaya. been in phuket and i didn't see any difference.

so there is no way to get a tourist visa in Malaysia...?

what about border run... you go to Birmanie ? how long is the trip ?

so best way is to go to lao for a visa.?

I guess when I arrive to bkk with 30 days waiver visa I could take a plane and go to nakhon phanom after rested, from there I can go to savannaket and then go by plane to phuket.

or go udon from phuket then lao by bus. sweet price 3300baths 2 ways with air asia...

other possibilities?

Cheap r/t flight to KL will get you single entry (30 days) which can be extended another 30. Best to get double or triple entry at your home country.

I have been living in Phuket for 11 years and visited most of Thailand. No question Phuket is the most expensive, with housing and transportation leading causes. The tuk-tuk mafia are nasty critters that have inflected their attitudes to other tourist service operators. Friends here are seriously considering selling out and moving to Chiang Mai or other places.

Maybe the OP is not 'at home' and is unable to get a tourist visa where s/he is?

yes not at home... moon would be better home for me i guess.

I never spend more than 3 to 6 months in a country.

having my passport gone for 1 week is already to much.

this is why I prefer to go to thailand for 30 days, then leave and ask for visa...

Fly into Cambo. or Laos, spend a few days there getting a visa then fly to Phuket direct.

laos, Singapore, Malaysia, turn ur passport in one morning, get it back the next day in the afternoon

Like i said only Laos will give you a double entry

Phnom Penh 2-3 days later or less if you pay more via an agent

AS to Phuket being the most expensive... its talked about on threads at least 4 times/year :-)
