Hello again, I know I often post this type of topic. However, I made a green curry with smoked bacon and it was fantastic! The smokey flavour was very subtle and flavoured the rest of the ingredients.

It got me thinking that I could not re-call eating smoked meat in Thailand. Is smoked meat ever used in any Thai recipes? If so, examples please...

Try the Buffet Special at After School Bar on Soi Cowboy

A real smoker.

Bambi, you are the fountain of all knowledge! I am reading your reply about 'not knowing' about smoked meat to mean the Thais don't use smoked meat for cooking.

So can I recommend if you can get some smoked bacon you should give it a try. My green curry was very interesting!
