HM the Queen recovering from slight blood shortage in the cerebellum

BANGKOK, 11 May 2013 (NNT) - Doctors tending Her Majesty the Queen at Siriraj Hospital have reported the latest result of a magnetic resonance imaging examination on Her Majesty, saying they no longer detect any shortage of blood to Her Majesty’s brain, the condition which she was diagnosed with in July last year.

The report was contained in the 14th Royal Household Bureau announcement issued last evening. The report said Her Majesty the Queen’s condition was generally good, with normal blood pressure and a satisfying rate of heartbeat.

Her Majesty the Queen has a normal appetite and is sleeping well. She is able to walk and move around freely. Her Majesty is now under physical therapy as suggested by the doctors, who have also asked her to further suspend royal duties for some more time.

One insurgent killed in clash with security forces in Narathiwat
By Digital Media

1368250491830.jpg

NARATHIWAT, May 11 -- One insurgent was killed in a clash with government security forces in Narathiwat while CCTV cameras at four locations in Yala were burned early Saturday morning.

Sixty combined special force of the 4th Region Forward Command of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) searched a house in Rueso district at around 3.30am after intelligent reports indicated that some 6-7 militants were hiding at the targeted house.

When security forces started to cordon off the house, people in the house opened fire on the soldiers and the two sides exchange gunfire for more than 10 minutes before the militants escaped.

A gun battle erupted anew at the area behind the house when authorities have pursued the insurgent group who were trying to retreat.

One soldier was shot in the chest and later sent to hospital.

After the gunfire ended, the security forces inspected the scene and found one body of a militant, identified later as Mr Yamali Hajibaka, 45, a member of the Ronda Kumpulan Kecil (RKK), an armed wing of the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN).

He was under an arrest warrant and arrested many times by security forces for involvement in the violent attacks in the southernmost provinces. However, authorities could not find enough evidence to prosecute him during legal proceedings.

Meanwhile, in the nearby province of Yala, CCTV cameras at four location in Raman district were burned by suspected insurgents.

Authorities said that the torching started at around 3am this morning and they were investigating and seeking more evidence to find the arsonists. (MCOT online news)
