PATTAYA:--Police have arrested a 51 year old man in connection with a shooting at a convenience store owned by the Chief of Village Number 3 in Pong Municipality, which took place on 25th April.

Nongprue Police led by Police Colonel Somnook, arrested the prime suspect, Khun Tanabeudi aged 51, on Friday. He is suspected of using an SK Machine Gun and spraying the front of the shop with bullets and injuring the Village Chief, his 11 year old Son and Cousin.

The suspect vehemently denies allegations he was involved in the shooting despite a Photo-fit picture which appears to resemble him and a detailed description of his appearance by witnesses.
