Receiving letters here in Thailand is spotty at best. I once got a letter from the UK five months after it had been sent. The best way to be sure of receiving it is to have it posted by the Danish equivalent of EMS or Global Priority Mail. That way you can use the Track & Trace on Danish mail's website, then when it hits Thailand, continue on with Track & Trace on the Thai Post website.

Phoning them without a trace number will just waste your time. I just had a small package shipped in from the US, by Priority Mail. It sat in customs for 9 days, it was never opened, and the waybill was never checked. My wife phoned about the 5th day, and was told in no uncertain terms that Thai Customs can hold things for a week or longer if they want to! So, even with a tracking number, we just had to wait for them to take their own sweet time. It was a total of 19 days from the States to up here in Isaan.

Yes, We can confirm what "nohavail" wrote...

EMS from Danmark:

http://www.ems.post/operators/denmark

And then tracking through Thailand:

http://track.thailandpost.co.th/trackinternet/Default.aspx

Works perfectly from Germany, France and Switzerland all the time.

Very reliable.

Hope this helps.
