Good luck

The last time I did my yearly visa renewal at Khon Keang I printed of the page from the Bank Of Thailand exchange rates on the day I went to the immigration office which I then handed to the officer with all the other forms.

I did my calculations on the 'transfer' rate not 'Bill Sight' as all my monies is transferred into my bank from the UK andagain attched my calculations to the other paperwork..

This was accepted by the official.

Admittedly if I had done the calculations on the 'Sight Bill' (note rate) I would still have had sufficient funds for my visa.

I suspect immigration would use the cash buying exchange rate.

The difference between telex and cash rate is normally quite small. IE: today for US$ the difference is 25 satang.

I saw the nice lady convert my USD using 30, even though the rate was 26 or 27 at the time.

Close enough for government work.
