an you clarify -- do you mean hormone replacement therapy for women (estrogen, progesterone), or for men (testosterone), or do you mean for men undergoing sexual reassignment?

And did you mean to say "gay" doctor or good doctor? Coz I can't see how the doctor's sexual orientation would matter, plus in most cases it isn't known...

Quite a few of the larger hospitals do sex reassignment surgery (if that is the plan here) and that would, obviously, include the hormonal treatment as well.
