Is their any restriction on the amount of dollars that can be brought into the USA?

Up to maximum of $10,000 dollars anything over that you will need to declare it on the customs form you will be provided prior to entry.

Also to be clear it can be in cash, bonds, checks. etc but it all must come to less that $10,000 you cannot take 10K in cash and then another 10K in a check that would be considered 20K
