There is an Indian yoga master named Raj with a studio on south Pattaya rd in the ground level of center condo. It's a tall white condo next to the big temple and across from tukom. He is a great teacher and highly recommended

I've checked into a number of places around here the past few years...

- The place by Big C was run by a lady at the time I went. The prices were ridiculous, but not surprising when we saw her drive away in in brand new Benz...

- Another, small, hidden gem is near Central Festival. It's in a massage pallor (well above it). Classes are provided twice a week early in the morning, at about 300baht per session if I remember correctly. And there may be packages, but I don't quite remember. The classes were small and quiet. I really enjoyed the guy's class, but I was seeking more classes throughout the week.

- Fairtex -- we ended up choosing Fairtex because it had the best class schedule (in terms of quantity - both morning and evening sessions, just about every day). Two of us joined so we were given a good price. Mats & towels provided, but you can obviously bring your own. Downside: the classes can get packed at times, and the instruction is a bit more "mainstream" if you get my drift….

We found a great yogi book and do our daily session at home now :-)

Good luck on your adventure!

Depends what style of yoga you are looking for.

I like dynamic yoga, and find the sweat and breath work leaves me feeling amazing.

There is a teacher who is authorised to teach the Ashtanga method, and he is running classes at the Mind Resort (there's a studio inside the hotel lobby, by the pool). He is listed on the KPJAYI website in Mysore. I will try to paste the link, but the teachers list needs updating (classes used to be at Areca Lodge, but now moved to Mind Resort).

The teacher is in India for one month, but classes resume on March 31st I think. So, the English speaking number that's listed will be non-responsive until around the 30th.

Here's as much as you need to know about Ashtanga Yoga method:

Hope it helps.

Yoga Pattaya Studio has breathing courses as well as Ashtanga yoga) All is in one place!

I did research and opened that only here they teach Art Of Living courses. That is so great. So I ended up with this studio!

Service, shower, interactive atmosphere are important. so see If u can visit it on Theprasit 12 and come to Nittay class. He is cool.
