Hello

I'm based in Bangkok and I am looking to buy a pair of used active speakers (around 300 watt~500 watt each). Can also go for new equipment if the price is OK.

Something like JBL, Electro-voice, Mackie, ... to use for DJ at small home parties.

Can anyone help me finding the right place to go, here in Bangkok?

There used to be a place that sold hi fi back of Big C opposite Central World. Fortune Plaza I think, but not sure if its still there.

Also, in Panthip Plaza, one of the upper floors, right hand side as you enter, at back, there used to be a guy selling second hand and refurbished hi fi.

There are also several Pro HiFi stores in Siam Paragon. Bose, Mackintosh? etc.

+1, I was surprised by the amount of quality professional stuff in Pantip, new and second hand

There are still four or five higher-end audio shops in the revamped Fortune Town IT Mall, I get confused on the floors exactly, maybe level 3?, definitely towards the Rama 9 side of this complex.

Ban Mo (บ้านหม้อ) electronics market has hundreds of shops selling hifi gear and speakers. Mostly not brand name though.

I managed to find a good and cheap set of 2x500 watt speakers + amp (white label brand) for around 15k THB in a electronics store at 4th floor of Fortune Town.

Before that I went to Pantip but could not find anything in the whole place.
