FireMedic
If you have a work permit and you are working for a company doing promotions/advertising, aren't you supposed to have your permit with you at all times while you are doing your job? Are you allowed to say "its at home, office, boss has it, or my dog ate it"?
NomadJoe
If you have a work permit and you are working for a company doing promotions/advertising, aren't you supposed to have your permit with you at all times while you are doing your job? Yes. Are you allowed to say "its at home, office, boss has it, or my dog ate it"? No. However, certain companies in certain tourist areas employ street touts that have an "agreement" with police to be able to operate. These "permissions" are granted via large sums of money paid to the police, immigration etc. Often it's the police or local politicians themselves who own these companies, thus don't need to bother with inconveniences such has getting their foreign employees work permits. Basically, it's the difference between "having a work permit" and "having permission to work." TIT. Edited May 31, 2013 by NomadJoe
Mario2008
When working you must be able to show your WP, to confirm you are working legally.
