Lite Beer Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 Eight children hurt by earthquake in southern PhilippinesManila - Eight children were injured and structures damaged by a magnitude-5.7 earthquake in the southern Philippines, officials said Sunday.The children from two villages in Carmen town were hurt by falling debris and landslides, according to a Cotabato police officer.The quake damaged several structures including a bridge and four school buildings in Kimadzil village.The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the epicenter was 10 kilometers west of Carmen in the North Cotabato province Saturday night -- The Nation 2013-06-02 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
