Need A Lemon Tree

Featured Replies

I have been looking through Thonburi and Nonthonburi for a lemon tree. I found one, a seven footer, but it looked a bit unhealthy, and one of the three lemons on the tree was huge and misshapen.

Does anyone know where I can get a decent lemon tree to plant in my yard?

....and stuck on with duct tape.

Just a thought, but try growing from pips.

Huge and misshapen is normal for a lemon that has been left on the tree for months on end. If you were to cut it open, you would find that the skin is very thick. The new lemons it produces in the next season will be just fine, unless you again leave it on the tree for months after it has already ripened. It will still be good, just not perfect, and hard to squeeze for juice.

Interesting, and thanks.

My US home was in California, and the lemons there were all pretty standard in size.
