PATTAYA:--Two sisters were injured after they were attacked by a group of at-least 6 men at a Central Pattaya Restaurant early on Monday Morning, over an unpaid lottery debt.

Khun Patoom aged 43 worked for a well-known underground lottery vendor, Khun Wichai who is thought to be aged between 50 and 55. He ordered the attack on Khun Patoom at a restaurant in Soi Yume in Central Pattaya due to a long-standing debt she had with him over unpaid lottery tickets she had sold on his behalf but never received the money for the tickets which meant she owed Khun Wichai 21,000 Baht.

Initially the pair agreed on monthly payments of 500 Baht and so far she had paid back 8,000 Baht. Recently she has been unable to honor the repayment schedule and some months has only been able to pay 300 Baht.

Steal from these people and expect them to get their payment back one way or another. I feel she is lucky only to have received a beating. it could have been a lot worse.
