Are there any art studios where I can take a recreational, beginners class in art, crafts, jewelry making, sewing, knitting, etc?

Sorry i have only a vague answer. I've seen a sign in Moon Muang Road Soi 9 which point towards a small art studio. No idea of quality or what they offer though. Or you could check the big art supplies shop near the U.N. Irish pub for flyers/handbills.

They have sewing classes at Airport Plaza, at a store that sells sewing machines and supplies. Can't remember the name. Also the class on Moon Muang mentioned by scd is mainly a drawing class but the teacher seems talented and helpful. Good luck.
