Making Oxtail Stew. Now What To Do With The Leftover Skin/hide?

Featured Replies

I nought 4 kilos of oxtails to make oxtail in the slow cooker. I prepped the oxtail by trimming off the hide. I hate to waste anything. Is there anything I can do to eat or have some function besides just toss away? Thanks

Feed it to the local mutts! They'll love you forever!

Make some very small Nang Yai puppets.

Dont take it off cook it with the skin on like the Thai's do it go's very soft and it's also quite delish, and as other have said if you get a bit to much feed the local dog's mine love's it. If it's warm Not cold try eating it with the yellow mustard as a snack. Maybe it's me I eat everything try putting a few chicken's feet 'Cleaned' half way through the cooking process also delish.
