The park between CMU and the zoo (on huay kaew) is virtually empty in the mornings...just want to let some people know that this is a nice place to take a morning stroll for some exercise. Youll pretty much have the whole park to yourself, except for the grounds workers, they get in around 830am. Its at the foot of the mountain too so the weather is cooler...I really dont know why more people dont go there.

The foot path is about 5-6 times longer than the fitness park on Niman, plus there is a clean restroom here and restaurants behind you can go to for breakfast. A lot of the plants and trees are also labelled so you can see what kinds of plants exist. Its a really nice place in the mornings , oh and....please walk counter clockwise. smile.png

It's on the left as you're heading towards Doi Suthep.

...and directly across the street from the Phuping police station. I like the fact that there is a bathroom here.

At the end of the park (far end), there is a small road where you can park. But i always see bikes and cars parked on the side of the road.

CMU has the purple fences, pass the fences and itll be on your left, yes its right on Huay Kaew about a kilometer or so after crossing canal road.

Your lucky if you see more than 3 people here before 10am, even in late afternoon, there are so many trees above that the shadow covers more than 75% of the walking path.

Sssssssshhhhhh!

Okay, guess I'm being a litle selfish. Some mornings it's quiet enough to meditate in one of the gazebos, some not, but it is a nice spot.
