battersea
i would like to take my wife (thai) and my son ( thai.. soon to be dual uk nationality) to uk and to a schengen country also. i have been told that my sons uk passport will take 6 weeks to process but the thai passport takes 3 days. is it ok to make a separate uk family visitor visa for him ( using his thai passport and relationship to me , a UK citizen) then also apply for a schengen visa for him to travel with my wife and i .. or hold on tight and hope the passport comes in 5 weeks... cos we travel then !!! 7by7
Your choice, really. Posts on here indicate that he may get his passport in less than 6 weeks, but there is no reason why you can't get a Schengen visa for him just in case. BTW, he is already a dual national and was from the moment he was born. He just doesn't have a British passport yet.
MrZM
I assume you have already got a UK visit visa for your wife and a Shengchen visa for her. A Shengchen visa doesn't cover the UK.
