I haven't seen them although I have a full size set here (looks like a briefcase) and I don't play anymore.
I should save it for my son as it's quite old.
Where do you live?
I'm in Rawai.
Possibly you could borrow it.

Thai authorities frown upon backgammon sets because they could be used for gambling purposes. Same like dice, not so many shops selling them. Only backgammon sets I have seen for sale in Thailand, were very small ones. When a bar has a well sized backgammon set and you ask them where they got it, they will usually tell you somebody brought it in from abroad.

They sell wooden sets in some of the tourist shops. Good size but I haven't seen any with green beize. Look at any of these shops selling wooden games and you might find one.

I too have a briefcase style set brought over from England but it's not for sale.
