Wonder if someone could help me.

I bought a True iPlay SIM at 7-11 the other day to use in my MiFi dongle. I wanted to top up by 599 Baht for a months WiFi and 3G Internet access and 3gb download. I went back to 7-11 and tried to top up but they couldn't understand me.

I would appreciate any info how to do this. I live in Koh Chang and the Internet here at work is glacially slow and often non existent.

you should be able to just tell 7-11 you want to buy a certain promotion, usually the name of your SIM's "brand" like "True Move H" and a baht amount is sufficient.

if you call customer service 029009000 they'll give you a specific "promotion" name, but any credit added to your account can be moved from one category to another, e.g. regular phone calls to Wi-Fi or 3G.
