The Meteorological Department has warned the people to watch out for any possible dangers from heavy rains and strong winds during these few days.

The Meteorological Department said that humidity fronts from the Andaman coast and the Gulf of Thailand have caused heavy rains and strong winds in Bangkok and vicinity areas, causing damages to trees and unstable structures. The Department said that the weather condition will continue for the next few days. The Department said that the westerly through will dominate the northern and northeastern regions, causing scattered thundershowers in the areas. It warns the people against possible dangers resulting from such weather conditions, especially today, as rain storms and hail may fall in the northern provinces.

this little fellow developed over hua hin yesterday afternoon at about 4pm , the rain front that raced across town from west to east was accompanied by about 20 minutes of nasty winds and evil lightning.
