Doesn't look high enough to get a good view, much less out the bathroom.

My mum's got a huge picture window set directly above her bath, overlooking rolling hills of forest. Spoiled IMO by the TV at the foot of the bath.

She does like her soaks. . .

Usually it means view out over the city...but feel free to use your own interpretation.

Chatrium, 5-star hotel on the river, medium-term stay corporate rentals in the building in the middle, inside one is private condos and rented apartments.

Lot of room very high up overlooking the river and/or downtown skyline, but think you'd need to leave the bathroom door open to see out from the tub.

Not much of interest to most tourists walking around the neighborhood, but they have their own (free) riverboat, 10 minute hops back and forth to Saphan Taksin BTS, or #1 bus every couple of minutes along Charoen Krung road or twenty minutes walk.

Usually very quiet, low occupancy, actually run by Dusit.

Great khao thom plaa shop across the street with cute burmese dek serve. . .

This kind of thing what I be looking for, but does not have to be river, can be silom or sukhumvit and city views. Would prefer city actually for ease of access.

But that one is circa 7/8k and bath kinda small.

Methinks not too many hotels would offer that, even in the fancy suites, most customers this part of the world are a bit shy about all those people with telescopes out there.

Make a list of the most expensive ones and start calling from the top down.

Actually the room we had was one bed exec suite to be correct.

The view from the bath is much better than the one the OP posted.

Bring lotsa bubble bath.
