Featured Replies

Hi,

does somebody know where to apply this visa? Valid for 1 Year. Multiple entry.

Which documents are required? Prefer such places, where they donn' t ask for 400000 in bank account.

Nationality ist german.

Thanks for replies

They don't generally ask for 400K in the bank, that is for the extension of stay, applied for in Thailand. Also, helpful to know where you are now. If already in Thailand, Savanakhet, Laos seems to be a popular location.

Also, useful information in the Pinned Topics section that very few seem to use, probably has good information concerning required documents, marriage licenses, etc.

Got one 18 months ago in KL.

Supplied copies of wife's house book, marriage certificates, I did have 400k in the bank but hadn't had it there long, have them copy of bank book updated at the passbook ATM the day before the application.

Had all original documents and the wife with me in case asked for them but wasn't.

Visa issued no problem.

As said Savannakhet Laos will issue with no bank acc. needed.

KL Malaysia will issue with 100,000 Baht in a bank acc.

Savannkhet is the easiest place regionally. The only thing they are picky about it wanting to see the original marriage cert. There are some good posts in the last 30 days about the process there.
