June 22, 201313 yr Hi I just moved to Pattaya, and am a keen squash player. I heard there are some guys that play regularly at both the Ambassador south of Jomtiem, and at Fairtex on Pattaya Nua. If anyone is part of these groups, can you get in touch please......I would love to have a regular game of squash. PM me Thanks Kevin
July 7, 201313 yr Let's try this over in the Pattaya forum. I think you'll get a better reply there. Topic Moved.
July 8, 201313 yr Just go to the Ambassador Hotel Tuesday.Thursday, Saturday 4.30 to 6.30 (actually they stay a lot later). It is 80 baht and you do not need to be a member. They use several of the glass backed courts depending on how many turn up. There are different levels of players so you should find a partner OK. So just turn up. The sports centre is on the right hand side about 200 metres down from the entrance. I don't think the Fairtex has a club night and there is only one court. It is quite expensive as well I believe. I don't like the Fairtex court anyway as it faces onto the area they do the boxing practice, so there is a lot distracting movement. Good Luck
March 24, 201412 yr Hi Kevin.I am in Pattaya for a few weeks and would like to have a few games of squash. I am in north pattaya so if you can make it i would love tohear from you. PM me Edited March 24, 201412 yr by Rimmer phone no. removed
March 24, 201412 yr The court at Fairtex is also very slippery. It is okay if you are just poking around but if you really want to run it is quite dangerous. Ambassador courts are much better but of course it is a bit of a hike to get there from Pattaya without a car or bike.
March 24, 201412 yr Ambassador have plenty of courts good air-con. Worth a try. Ask them when they have discounts on membership. I play squash every other day with my girlfriend. we are just at beginner/fun stage. Every time we go the courts are empty.
