EVA Air points/miles

Probably best, and quickest to post, is to tell them as you check in and before they print your boarding card. The check-in staff will enter it there and then and it will appear on your boarding card. That way if you have any problems you have the stub (I always keep mine until I've checked they have posted) in case of any issues.

Not sure which program you plan to credit your miles to, but keep in mind that EVA just joined Star Alliance this past week (June 18th), and you can now accrue miles to any Star Alliance program you might belong to (including THAI Airways ROP.) Unfortunately, some of the Star carriers (including THAI) do not yet have their charts posted showing which discounted EVA fares are non-mileage earning and partial-mileage earning. The THAI website should eventually show it here: http://www.thaiairways.com/frequent-flyer/en/airlines-booking-class-codes-chart.htm

A consolidated chart has been posted at the link below, showing all the EVA accrual information for Star Alliance carriers that is presently known. It should continue to be updated as additional Star Alliance carriers update their accrual information:

yes but keep in mind that in some of the highly discounted EVA fares like V class you get zero miles...so good idea to see what fare class you have to see if you will get miles or not....

  • 2 weeks later...

I recently heard about this information posted from a Thai-language forum, about EVA mileage accrual levels with the THAI ROP program:

http://www.hflight.net/forums/topic/13096-อัพเดทสะสมไมล์-rop-กับ-eva-air/

The source is unknown, and though not official, it does seem probable when compared with how other Star Alliance carriers are crediting EVA mileage.
