The point i was making, which has clearly gone right over your head is that you make it sound such a simple easy way the way you posted.....in real life it sure is not as easy as just going and getting a job offshore and getting them to pay for all your flights especially when the guy has already said there is not much in the way of qualifications! In terms of diving you would need to Certify Open Water, Advanced and Resue Diver. Can do that lot in under two weeks. Then you do a course in Underwater Videography (there are some top notch places in Koh Tao). With your background you may be able to get exemptions from a lot of that course. There is then work with the dive schools producing videos of people diving or doing courses. As in all the dive industry pay is pretty low and it is very competitive (less so on Samui than Koh Tao) but it could bring in some income and allow you to explore more freelance work with hotels or other organizations. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No, I said offshore work is a more realistic option than finding a well-paid job in Samui. Most things are achievable, some things in a short timescale, some things much much longer if you put your mind to it. If you care to get back on track to the topic the OP is talking about NOW, immediately!
